We are opening this beautiful school, which I built on behalf of my mother, with all my friends, friends, fellow countrymen. My childhood passed here. Summer vacation, my semester vacation has always been spent here. This village has a special place for me. I was even happier when I built such a school here on behalf of my mother. We come last in the university exams every year in Şemdinli. We definitely need to tear this down. Why is our hometown always last in university exams. It depends a little bit on us, it depends on our lack. It shows that we don’t care about education and we have to beat it. We need to get out of this result. For him, I pay special attention to education. I have students to whom I have given scholarships, and from now on I will pay more attention to education,” he said.

Governor Toprak, on the other hand, stated that they thanked the philanthropic businessman Sabri Özel and his brother Celal Özel who built the school and noted the following:

“As you have seen, 104 of our students will receive education and training in this building, which will serve as a secondary school with a unique architecture. 9 teachers will work in this school, which consists of 5 classrooms. Everyone can be a businessman, but not everyone can be a good businessman, a good person. We know people who have become very rich both in our region and in other regions. His hand trembles because a penny will be good for his citizen, his person, his state. But I take this opportunity to thank both Sabri Bey and Celal Bey not only for this school, but for their support for all the work that we have done in Hakkari, especially our young people, athletes, culture, art, and all the work that we have done and plan to do.”

After the opening, Governor Toprak and other invited guests visited the classrooms at the school and distributed school bags and stationery materials to the students.
