Sabri Baran Ozel Culture and
Nature Conservation Association

Sabri ÖZEL's visit to our town in Şemdinli in May 2022, and after consultations and evaluations with educators, it was decided to establish it. Our association got its name from the combination of the names of valuable businessman Sabri ÖZEL and his son Baran ÖZEL. Our valuable business person is known in Şemdinli for the support he gives to education and culture and the importance he gives to nature. This was an important indicator in shaping the name of the association. While creating our logo, natural beauties and human values of Şemdinli were taken into consideration. The Reverse Tulip and Mountain in our logo symbolize the natural beauties, the book symbolizes the importance given to education, and the bees symbolize beekeeping / honey production, an important human activity of Şemdinli. The working principles of our association are completely voluntary and have no political or political purpose. We are a non-governmental organization that aims to help without any political, religious or ethnic discrimination, and gathers volunteers from a wide range of ages and professions.
